In 2005, the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) organized a significant expedition to Mt. Uja Tirche, a 6,202-meter (20,348 ft) peak located in the remote Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. This lesser-known mountain, situated near the India-Tibet border, offers climbers a challenging ascent due to its steep gradients and limited accessibility.​

After an unexpected team cancellation, I set out solo to climb Mt. Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe at 5642m in 2018. Battling logistical hurdles, limited training time, and unpredictable weather, the expedition turned into a life-changing adventure of perseverance and passion for the mountains.
